Half-Scrap, a few constant fabrics and a whole mess of scraps, is how I like to make my traditional pieced quilts. But if you taste runs to an even more constant fabric choice these pattern will still work for your palette. Pick out a quilt, figure out the length of time and then let’s get started with a workshop filled with color/fabric choice exercises, tips and tricks for using specialty rulers/tools, and all kinds of fun.
Of course we will never finish an entire quilt even in the 6HR format but we will get a few blocks done. A bonus table runner pattern based off each full quilt pattern will be provided for each workshop attendee. This pattern will use just a few blocks that can be achieved in a normal workshop day. So class blocks are just that, class blocks. There is no pressure to make the ultimate fabric choice for a quilt and buy/cut yardage. I encourage you to grab a bag of scraps and maybe 3-4 fat quarters and let’s just play with learning how to make these blocks and how to make color/fabric choices to make them sing.
Here are the quilts….which one do you want to dive into?
**NOTE - 3HR/4HR versions of workshops are available - please contact for individual information
